Imprisonment for driving vehicles on beach

The Muscat Municipality has warned citizens and residents on the dangers of driving vehicles and motorcycles on the sands of the beaches. Such activities endanger the safety of beach visitors and disturb public comfort, and is contrary to regulations and laws, a statement said on Thursday.


Penalties include a fine or imprisonment for a term not exceeding two months.
